Peru Trip

Join us for a ministry trip to Iquitos, Peru, from March 18–27, 2027, as we partner with local leaders in the heart of the Amazon River basin to deliver practical aid, medical support, and spiritual encouragement to riverbank communities.

Medical Ministry

  • Partner with local healthcare workers to operate mobile medical, vision, and dental triage stations in high-need neighborhoods and remote villages accessible primarily by boat.

  • Conduct basic health screenings, distribute essential vitamins and hygiene supplies, and deliver practical health education to families with limited access to routine clinical care.

Home Visits & Food Distribution

  • Walk door-to-door alongside local translators to listen to family stories, offer personal prayer, and build meaningful relationships within the neighborhood.

  • Assemble and deliver care packages containing local staples—such as rice, beans, cooking oil, oats, and canned protein—to relieve immediate food insecurity for vulnerable households.

School & Children's Ministry

  • Lead high-energy Vacation Bible School (VBS) programs in schools and community centers featuring interactive Bible lessons, music, crafts, and sports.

  • Distribute backpacks, essential school supplies, and personal hygiene kits to empower youth and encourage ongoing school participation.

Pastoral & Missionary Support

  • Organize dedicated fellowship meals, prayer gatherings, and encouragement sessions for Peruvian pastors and long-term field workers facing regional isolation.

  • Assist local ministry leaders with light facility maintenance, resource distribution, and operational help to reinforce their year-round work in Iquitos.

Cultural & Recreational Excursions

  • Travel along the Amazon and Nanay rivers by boat to experience the lush rainforest ecosystem and native wildlife that shape daily life in the region.

  • Visit traditional floating markets, sample authentic Amazonian cuisine, and gain firsthand insight into the rich history and traditions of the local indigenous culture.
